AFR was proud to participate in the TDEM Annual Conference held in Fort Worth, Texas, from May 27–28, 2026, bringing together emergency management professionals, public safety leaders and industry partners from across the state and beyond.

The AFR US team, represented by Harald Hohenthal and Robert Gunn, enjoyed an exceptionally busy and productive two days, fielding questions and enquiries from a wide range of agencies and their representatives. The level of interest in AFR's aerial reconnaissance and situational awareness capabilities exceeded expectations, with a constant flow of visitors keen to discuss how advanced airborne intelligence can support emergency response, disaster management and public safety operations.

Throughout the conference, numerous engaging conversations and detailed discussions were held with emergency management officials, operational leaders and decision-makers. Topics ranged from wildfire response and severe weather incidents to critical infrastructure protection and large-scale emergency coordination, highlighting the growing demand for timely and actionable aerial intelligence.

The event also provided an excellent platform for AFR to build new relationships and strengthen existing partnerships. A significant number of follow-up meetings were scheduled as a direct result of discussions held during the conference, creating exciting opportunities for future collaboration and demonstrating the strong interest in AFR's services throughout the emergency management community.

For AFR, TDEM 2026 was a tremendous success. The quality of engagement, the volume of enquiries and the number of new opportunities generated made the conference one of the most productive events of the year to date. More importantly, the event showcased the ongoing commitment of the Texas emergency management community to identifying innovative solutions that enhance preparedness, response capabilities and public safety outcomes.

AFR would like to thank the TDEM organisers, attendees and fellow exhibitors for delivering another outstanding conference and looks forward to continuing the conversations and partnerships established during this highly successful event.
